White Robot is proud to announce their submission into the Loopers Delight 10 year anniversary 30 sec sound clip archive.
This arcive provides listeners 30 second looping clips from loopers around the world. The brain child of Bosie ID looper Krispen Hartung (www.krispenhartung.com)
each looper has 30 sec to loop a clip of their own choosing. Loops are posted at:
www.krispenhartung.com/LoopersDelight10Year.htm What is looping? Basically it's a repeating "loop" of audio that can have additional layers of audio added to it. Looping is accomplished by hardware/software designed to loop. White Robot previews four new cuts for fall. "mr. Botty " is the name of the project and soon to be released CD by ...mr Botty. A sophticated blend of guitars and electronica imbetted in arty and sometimes wild grooves. mr.botty is strangely hypnotic at times but the intent of it's edge is always present. Sneaky little melodies paired up with really phunky sequencer grooving sets a pace that's easy on the foot. Things do steam up once in a while and end up in an almost stream of consciousness moments of improv before reverting back to the groove and then often twisting into a new take at the tag. mr. If your a live PA guy like me doing electronica you know how frustrating it is to have a speaker system that can't keep up with your music. Well... the search is over! During a recent trip to Towsen U in Baltimore I had the opportunity to hear some
"real speakers" for a change. ISP's stuff kicks man!
The 2 box Mongoose line array system along with a 2-12 sub on each side easily made the fillings in the back of my mouth rattle.
All boxes are self powered by their own patented D-CAT amplifer technology which provides more power than you can believe. Hey everyone. Just wanted to let you know we've posted two new cuts fron the upcoming CD "Quixotic" by Brain Science. This will be the projects second CD for White Robot. The rest of the CD is still "under construction" and is scheduled for release later this year. So...if you're hungry for more enjoy two new tracks for preview here at out site. A year ago when I started White Robot I really had no idea how many of you out there we're eager for our unique type of Detroit Electronica. Music Producer Jim Konen scoring music for Ron Allen play "Aboriginal Treatment Center" in Detroit MI. This play opens in June 06 and will show each weekend of that month. The play will be performed at the Detroit Cultural Center (formerly the Furniture Factory) at 4126 3rd ave in downtown Detroit.

Spring '06 is here and as promised, Mr. Botty has been busy getting ready for the official release of "Rocket Surgery" by Brain Science.(WRR15039) Mr. botty (aka Jim K) began this project test driving various computer music software and ended up with 14 tracks of what he calls, "experimental ambient textures". This deep listening
adventure creates new pathways connecting IDM, Ambient, and Mr. Bottys unique improviosional skills. Botty likes it and so will you. Check our website for audio samples/purchase. "Rocket Surgery", will soon be available for download as well.

Live show dates are now in the works here at White Robot. visionEar, may soon be revving up the RPM (real-time performance module) in a town near you. Dates are already planned in March along with Ron Allen, another White Robot artist.
We'll keep you updated on the schedule as dates are confirmed.
What is the RPM????? It's kind of a giant electronic music machine created here by producer visionEar. Stay tuned, cause we'll be providing pix and important "gearhead" info about the "RPM" on this site very soon.

All this activity here at our website and the especially popular "Taste of White Robot" page got us thinking... how about a CD that includes our most popular downloads in full version. White Robot will be releasing it's first CD sampler ever. This CD features cuts from all our artists, all on one CD!! Look for it coming in Feb 2006.

Our first new music project for 2006 is
"Brain Science" produced Mr.Botty here in our studio. Using the latest and greatest computers and software around. "Brain Science" a mixture of ambient and experimental textures melded with strong melodic content but not to sweet. You can test drive a cut yourself at out homepage.

First of all, Happy New Year to all our visitors. Hope your as happy as we are. 2005 was an amazing year of growth for our little company. Looking for some music to best theme your halloween party with? Well, here at white robot we have a suggesion for you. How about "Ultrazone" by Zerone. Judging from all the feedback we've been recieving this stuff is pretty scarry. "I never counted on this response to my music but i'm honered just the same" says Zerone spokesman and producer Jim Konen. "This music was put together with the late night voyager looking for that Rob Zombie horror flick experience in their headphones". The fact that a lot of folks will be playing it at their holloween event is a market Konen never had in mind. "Perhaps, this music will become some kind of Halloween staple for years to come, I could live with that".
